You have probably heard about the famous THC, scientifically called Δ-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, the main cannabinoid present in cannabis plants. THC is used to relieve symptoms suffered by many patients in countries where its use is authorised, helping to reduce spasms, relieve nausea, stimulate appetite and calm pain, particularly chronic and neuropathic pain.
