    Gelonade: Lemon Tree x Gelato

Philosopher Seeds presents Gelonade, a new cannabis variety.

Gelonade is a very popular variety in California due to its potency and high productivity. It is the encounter between Lemon Tree and Gelato, two well-known parentals. Gelonade seeds are now available in limited edition format at Philosopher Seeds website.

Lemon Tree is an US cannabis strain that resembles the famous Dutch Amnesia. It is the cross between Las Vegas Lemon Skunk and Sourdiesel, offering a highly sought after and characteristic lemon citric aroma, yet with a more chemical lime touch. Gelato, on the other hand, is a plant selected by Mr Sherbinski, the creator of Sunset Sherbert and of Gelato's genetic bases: the famous Girl Scout Cookies.

    Gelonade, very productive cannabis

Gelonade production is highly profitable, comparable to other varieties such as Amnesia or Lemon OG Candy, and with a quality in line with the US flower standard. Cultivated in a growing area of about 120cm x 120cm, it can offer a yield of more than 600g of dried buds. Outdoors, cultivated in open ground early on the season, it is possible to obtain more than 1kg of dry flower.

Gelonade, lime and Gelato flavoured cannabis

Gelonade is suitable to grow easily in many substrates. Cultivated organically in soil, the citric terpenes appear, with a taste reminiscent of lime. Cultivated in hydroponic and coconut, Gelonade's bracts tend to increase in size and present a much more acidic and chemical flavour. This certainly excites the faithful of Sour aroma.

Gelonade is the encounter between Lemon Tree and Gelato #41, so the highly sought after citric aromas of Lemon Tree perfectly merge with Gelato sweetness and strength.

Gelonade, thanks to its high Sativa content, grows vigorous and strong, not requiring much care. It is a robust hybrid usually not suffering too much from pests thanks to its high resistance. It is advisable not to overdo it indoors. Once starts flowering it can increase in size up to double, so it has great adaptability to small spaces through SOG cultivation.

Gelonade, increased appetite and spontaneous laughter

Gelonade is a cannabis strain with a high THC content, which can easily exceed 25%. It delivers a Sativa effect very energetic and allows for easy disinhibition, which can lead to bouts of spontaneous laughter. Over time, one may experience changes in time perception and decreased lucidity. It progresses to a relaxing and pleasant effect that induces a smile on the face while increasing the appetite.
