Mai Tai Auto genetics, Mai Tai x (Gorilla Punch Auto)

The selected Mai Tai phenotype (Gorilla Glue #4 x Purple Punch Alphacut) offers a distinguished forest fruits and sweetie aroma, with a marked sweet undertone. It grows with a great structure and flower formation, producing large amounts of resin. This plant presents a short flowering period.

Mai Tai has been crossed over several generations with Auto Gorilla Punch, looking for the sweet terpene side of Punch while maintaining Gorilla's production and resin quality.

Mai Tai Auto cultivation

As with all auto-flowering strains, it is highly recommended to provide enough space for the roots. A pot size of 7-10L is required for the plants to reach a good size and yield. Mai Tai Auto, reaching 100cm in height, can yield over 400g per m2 indoors under optimal cultivation. A photoperiod of 18/6h should be applied from germination to harvest, and only one transplant to the final pot.

Mai Tai Auto likes aerated and spongy substrate, "allmix" type, which ensures nutrients in the vegetative period during the first weeks. In the flowering stage it favours solid organic nutrition such as guano, accepting well stimulators and PK support during the last fattening stage.

Some Mai Tai Auto phenotypes present an earlier harvest, but normally this plant has a full cycle of about 10-11 weeks. All phenotypes have in common a good balance between production and quality, with attractive and dense buds, with lots of resin and really tempting terpenes.

Mai Tai Auto, resistant cannabis

Mai Tai Auto, thanks to its easy cultivation and great results, deserves to be part of any garden, indoors or outdoors.

Outdoors, it can be germinated in the Northern Hemisphere until August, while in February in the Southern Hemisphere. It is an auto-flowering strain very resistant to fungi such as botrytis, tolerating well the humid climate. However, with temperatures below 18ºC and less than 5-6 hours of direct sunlight, its development slows down and its production decreases.

Motivating and sweet cannabis

Once the buds are mature, manicuring the plant is quick, as it is easy to remove the palm leaves close to the flowers. Once cured, its flowers release a strong sweet red fruit aroma with grapes and blackberries. Mai Tai's effects enable day-to-day tasks to be accomplished, with a motivating effect that is not at all sluggish. The effect progresses to a pleasant relaxation, where time passes slowly.
