SOG is a cannabis cultivation technique known as Sea of Green. In this tag we include strains that are very well adapted to this type of growing method because of their characteristics.
The SOG cultivation method consists of applying a small growth period to the plants (or none) before changing the photoperiod to flowering (12/12). This reduces several weeks of growing time per cultivation, producing large central buds. The buds are very homogeneous in size due to the high light penetration and contained size (0.5-1.0m).
In order to optimise SOG cultivation, the number of plants per m2 is increased (from 16 to 36). It is not necessary to use large pots (the plants stay less time in them). Flood irrigation or the installation of a drip irrigation system is recommended.
Sea of Green cultivation provides more harvests per year, ensuring considerable energy savings due to the short period of time the plants remain in 18/6 (vegetative period). All the flowers present a very homogeneous calibre.
