Triple Cheese Genetics
Triple Cheese feminized seeds from Barney's Farm is a cross between two strains from the Skunk family. An Indica dominant hybrid, its parents are well-known for their flavours and effects throughout all Europe.
The powerful Original Cheese (derived from a Skunk #1 phenotype) and the highly productive Blue Cheese have given rise to this consistent, stable and fast flowering strain. A real delight for the old school palate!
Cultivation of Triple Cheese
This feminized photoperiod cannabis strain grows vigorously from germination. It adapts well to pruning and training, so it's suitable for both SCROG and SOG, depending on type of pruning applied.
Its vigour is enhanced by hydroponic systems, so you should keep an eye on the plant's final height; although we must say it's relatively compact. It requires a medium-high nutritional diet and develops olive-green leaves with spear-like foliage, similar to more Sativa-dominant strains, but shows its Afghan heritage in the compaction and high resin production of its flowers.
Easy to grow plant with excellent yields
Hybrid of the famous Cheese and the impressive Blue Cheese, to enjoy the traits of the best Skunks.
It is worth mentioning Triple Cheese great stability, which has been worked on till the fifth generation, and makes all plants more or less equal in every aspect, which greatly facilitates its indoor cultivation.
The flowering period is short, as it only needs a maximum of 57 days in order to harvest up to 550-600gr/m2. Outdoors, this strain is ready at the end of September and can produce over 800 grams per plant. The buds are big and luscious and not tight as rocks, but this slight fluffiness makes them less prone to develope fungi such as botrytis.
During the flowering period, it's advisable to train the plant, or use some type of support to prevent the weight of the buds from breaking the branches, which are quite resilient, but in the event of strong winds and heavy rain, some side breakage in the heaviest branchs is more than possible.
Triple Cheese Taste and Effects
Triple Cheese aroma and taste are very elegant and remind us of the original Cheese flavour, but with a touch of creamy cheese and fruity notes, and spicy, skunk and earthy hints.
The effects are happy, euphoric and cerebral, and relaxing and pleasant at the same time, ideal for having conversations and socializing in general, as well as relaxing in good company.
