Tropicanna Banana Genetics
Philosopher Seeds presents Tropicanna Banana by Barneys Farm, the famous cross between Tropicanna Cookies by Oni Seeds and Banana Kush.
The parental Tropicanna by Oni Seeds is a Cookies version with citric and tangy flavours with a Cookies background. It offers great psychoactive potency with uplifting and euphoric effects.
The other parental is Banana OG, an OG Kush descendant with tropical flavours and a very Indica effect.
The fusion of these two genetics results in a variety of Sativa effect. It is an easy to cultivate plant thanks to its tolerance to growing issues, offering an above average harvest, mainly focused on the large central flower.
Tropicanna Banana cultivation
In indoor cultivation it is an easy to cultivate Sativa plant thanks to its structure, production and short flowering period. Because of its Indica heritage, it is a not very tall plant with an average size of up to 110cm, which makes it easy to control. It develops firm secondary branches, with a medium internodal distance. It offers a yield of up to 700g per m2 under optimal growing conditions in just 65-70 days of flowering.
Outdoors it easily reaches up to 200cm in height (an average size for a Sativa), with a yield of up to 2000g per plant in open ground, and ready to harvest in October. It develops a dense and fleshy main flower covered in a sticky resin layer.
It is a surprisingly vigorous plant, with very robust main branch and secondary ramification. Another great feature is its high resistance to mildew and certain mites such as red spider.
Certainly, it is easy to obtain specimens with a large amount of dense and compact flowers full of resin. Under good conditions it develops a large central bud of such dimensions that its shadow can scare some novice growers.
Tropicanna Banana flavours and effects
Tropicanna Banana by Barney's Farm has a very broad terpenes profile, with citric and fruity banana flavours with floral, spicy and earthy undertones.
It is a very powerful strain, with a THC level of 22-25%. It produces a euphoric high worthy of the best Sativa, which progresses to a pleasant relaxation that puts even the grumpiest person in a good mood.
